Samsung HD320KJ

December 6th, 2007, 17:41

Hello,

I have a Samsung HD320KJ for data recovery.
Date code: 2007.6
Rev. A

The disk came out of a Lacie external enclosure.
The disk spins up and immediately starts clicking.
The disk is not recognized by BIOS.

I am anticipating a head swap but would like to know any
qualifications for a suitable donor drive before I buy.

The PCB is: BF 41-00133A, Trident 11-RE, Rev06

Any information on particular drive and drive family is appreciated.
