Maxtor 54098H8 (40 GB) - Need Logic Board

I have a shorted logic board on a Maxtor 54098H8 with Code DAC10SC0. What exactly do I need to look for when searching for a replacement board?

Hi

I think U can be satisfied by any board U can get for this model, U have to match the family and maybe need to replace the ROM from the damaged board if not fully compatible.

or if u dont want to change the ROM then the 5 letter code on the pcb should match with the donor pcb .
