WD has not detected

hi everyone,
i have WD 20gb-family Caviar Cyl 16 bit..
my problem is hdd has not detected when i run utiliy start..
example:- Model-WDC205EB
Serial-?????????
Firmware-04.01B
Capacity-MB()
you all can help me?any tip?
i hope you all can undertand me because i don't approve English..

Most of the times when hdd shows this serial its a head issue .
