Problem with Samsung MP0804H

January 4th, 2008, 4:06

Hello everybody!

I have a problem with HDD: once a day BIOS finishes to determine the device.
Mhdd does not see the one too and writes abracadabra instead hdd's name.
When power up, HDD tries to start (disks spinnig up, but not reaching necessary speed and then stopping) a few times, then hangs with an error.

I've found a topic http://forum.hddguru.com/hard-disk-drives-repair-and-data-recovery-f1/rom-samsung-magma-mp0804h-t8145.html?sid=5874c19cd3625101a503ac00e78d269d&sid=f3c70c207b53f3a96c2699ab19f4cc14#p49361 - all the details (pcb label and rev.No) the same with the device which I have.

What can be done at home to repair the HDD?
