using Hard Disk Wipe V.2.35 I get an error message

January 20th, 2008, 5:32

The message is, "write error occured at offset" then it gives a lots of numbers. What do I do now?
The drive is a ST350063 SATA drive.
Just before I asked to wipe the disk I get a message, "Details are unavailable because the device is not a Native IDE or SATA device" in Hard Disk Wipe.

I put two 500gb in raid 1 configuration but got an error message when using Acronis True Image 11 that said, "ERROR: sil" only 1/4 metadata areas found" and I was hoping to erase the disks using this program.

Although the disks are not the exact same all of a sudden they have the same firmware and I'm sure it didn't start out that way. HELP.
