He means specialist software and equipment, not free stuff.

E.g. PC3000 or Salvation

Also lots of knowledge/experience.

If you want your data, then u need expert help.

Pelase don't try and play with it yourself, or you'll bugger it up for good!

If it were a simple fix, or fixable with free s/w, then we would tell u.
