maxtor n40 problem when load

hi,
i have 40gb maxtor not detect. so i try load in safe mode. all ok until SRV Initialization.
it appeared DIAG COMMD ERR. then i try to click RCT & DISK Initialization. it show
the same thing. then i try to change board. load ok but error in module cant be repair.
is that all because of Diag Command Err? What cause of that (diag cmmd err)?
Please need some help or tips..
