What does this Seagate Terminal Message mean?

I'm trying to recover data from a Seagate 160 GB SATA drive and got the message below in Terminal mode.

I have a PC3000.

What does the message mean, and what is the next step in Data Recovery?

The message simply means bad sector. You can try some parallel software by OnTrack.

Is it only data retrieved that yo need?

The drive never comes ready, so I doubt that software alone would recover the data.

And yes, it is just data recovery that I am seeking.

The drive can not read even the Sector0, if it never comes ready. Theres a very little hope of getting the data back my friend . Download MHDD and see if it is able to initialise and scan the hard disk drive...

Its head problem. Common in Seagate 160 3.AAE model. nead head change to get data.
