Maxtor 6y080L003 need help for diagnose and DR

Hello mates,

A 6Y080L0031013 / NMCD / AAA / YAR41Bw0 with E4FYB Pcb (probably 5C1b rom) arrived, need DR on it.
At power up, the drive unparks the heads and do the first part of calibration, then clicks continuously and fast.
I found a suitable loader, except that is NMBD. Don't know the original ROM checksum but the rest seems to be identical, so probably this is not the issue, the behaviour is the same.
Can't read SA in that condition, any suggestion ?
Tried loader with PCB off the HDA,trying to initialize the drive clicks again... and report 94000+ tracks and 8 heads .
Don't know if someone attempted to recover the drive before giving to me, I need advice before opening / head swap - I suspect a preamp/headstack failure, but clicking starts after done the first part of the calibration ( reads something, stop half a second, read something, half a second then start clicking).
Any suggestion or hint ?
Any suggestion for head stack replacement as THIS code seems to be "rare" (0031013) ?
Anyone of you have suitable loaders for this drive ? Please help.

I suspect module 1f to blame.
I dont know how to repar it
Module 1f had an eror ,rewrote module,but not from the same drive...and after repower,it does somethig like your drive starts,unparks the heads,starts reading microcode the starts clicking.
Maybe searching for non existing head.
Anybody solution?

Common problem in Calipso drives if u load LDR with same checksum of the drive and it clicks then its a head issue .

Thank you for your opinion. After in-depth analysys 90% is a head issue and probably scratched (damaged) surface... hard to fix , few chances (better give up )
