seagate barracuda drive just clicks away

ok done a pcb swap and the hard drive does a slient click click then stops

tried the pcb board on a known good working hard drive and both boards work fine.

i think its the controller amp head chip that has gone doh
which is the next option to go with


any advice on this guys

You should start with terminal start-up log on Seagates...
But in your case it seems like a heads problem.
