Samsung SP0812C. Run 5 secind and stop....Why?

I have a hdd Samsung SP0812C and it run 5 secunds and stop motor, what soukd to be the problem ?, This problems can to be the PCB or Media , Head, ????

Connect to terminal and check the error condition (code after LED) please post terminal log.

If it is not clicking in that 5 seconds, the problem is probably FW related.

Hi, I connect to PC but It is not recognized for the bios, how can I to see the terminal log ? Do you thinks the problem is on the PCB, the hdd not make a click sound, run 5 secunds and stop the motor.

If u connect it to PC as secondary master and run MHDD, what do U see on the registers at the top of the screen?

I can see the Mhdd but the secund hdd (Samsung Failure) not show anything.

Surely it won't show the ID, I was asking about the status register. U can see its bits in the upper left corner:
[BSY][DRD]...
which one is lit up?
