Samsung 320gb Sata II
Is it possible to work on this drive with hyper-terminal ?
and if so .. what are the pin connections for terminal

SATA has the same jumper pins as PATA, so connection is the same.

But are they the same on Samsung as Seagate?
I have No reference to go by for a samsung drive

It's almost the same. Just leave the master jumper on and pretend it's not there.
By the way, terminal on Samsungs is only useful for diagnostics.
