Good books about hard disks for data recovery?

May 9th, 2008, 11:30

Hi All,

I recently ordered these 2 books and found them helpful in understanding more about hard disks.
Hard Disk Drive: Mechatronics and Control (Automation and Control Engineering)
and
Spin-stand Microscopy of Hard Disk Data (Elsevier Series in Electromagnetism

Does anybody else have any other books that found useful? I'm sure we can all find these types of resources educational ...yes, boring but it's still good to learn more!
