Bell expressvu HDD unlock?

May 28th, 2008, 3:08

Ok, got a couple of drives from some Bell expressvu satellite receivers.
First one is Seagate DB35.3 7200.3 250GB.
Second one is Hitachi CinemaStar 320GB

Seagate comes up with:
ST3250820SCE LBA:488,397,168
SN:9QE2H90X FW:3.AVH CACHE:8192KB
Supports: LBA48 HPA DLMC LBA DMA (UDMA6,MWDMA2)
SMART:Disabled Selftest: Supported ErrorLog: Supported
Security: high, OFF. Size = 238475MB

Tried unlock with Seagate (15spaces), Seagate (1 space), just 1 space, 32 spaces, did not try the typicall xbox ones as this is not from an xbox.

The Hitachi, when I try getting info, it says it does not support LBA and MHDD will not work on this drive. The drive is 320GB, it has to use LBA!!!!

Sticker on drive says:
Model:HCS725032VLA380

What else do I need to try?
