DF After relocation. Still there? HTBI. This works unless physical damage makes it end with err. - in this case have to work it out manually or do some patching.

Hi guys
Same problem here...i have 2 samsung hdd SP2504C SATA ...both have a few bad sectors in the begining of the user space...tryed format, relocate but nothing. For doing HT and BI on these drives we need some files which are very hard to find for these hdd's because they are too new....at least i can't find them....
So any other ideas?
Thanks
Rgds

No, imho probably add to list and issue DF is sufficient. You only need to know the def. Lba. Htbi is more powerful but require resources. Here probably some of the experts can help, I'm definitely not an expert on anything, I only know a little part about how these drives work.

I thought the errors were on user area, if the disk work why worry? I don't use the tools you seem are using (ace?) to work on these drives. Do MHDD work 100%? Don't worry on MC then. Otherwise you need support from the tool maker for that model. I have been experimenting and discovering for 2 years on these hdds before I quit dr...
