WD Drives with size 0Mb

June 5th, 2008, 5:24

Hi to all!!

I have two drives of several models of Western Digital that shows HARD DISK FAIL error and the Bios recognize it with 0Mb capacity.

The HD Drives model are:

WD5000AAKS-00TMA0, 500Gb

and the other one is:

WD800UE-00HCT0

I don't know if the problem is mechanical or firmware error. I'm going to work wiyh these disks and post report here.

Anybody knows why the hard disk in this way?

Thanks a lot.
