Seagate 3.5" Barracuda always BUSY

June 5th, 2008, 10:58

Hi All,

I have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320 GB IDE disk, it powers up and does not click/tick or make any unusual loud sounds, it's spinning but does not get detected in BIOS.

In the PC-3000 UDMA it shows as BSY (busy) - i left it on for about 30 minutes, it was still busy.

Any ideas what could be wrong with this disk?

P.S I don't have terminal output, never quiet got the hang of that!

SED ,
Without the Terminal Output its hard to tell ,It Could Be In Factory Mode f > ,Or It Could Be Missing boot Adaptives or Overlay Failed Etc etc
