How do we fix a BAD SMART status on a Toshiba Laptop HDD showing Reallocated Sectors Count exceeding a threshold limit?
What if it's a Hitachi Laptop HDD with same problem?

I know this could easily be done with a professional 3rd party hardware-software complex for these brands of HDD's, but is there a way of doing this by some ATA commands?
Like clearing G-List so I could do a FULL ERASE.

If a drive has too many reallocated sectors, wiping the G-List is only a temporary fix. The bad sectors will come back to haunt you, ghost . . . .

I know, but who knows the majority are just logical bads? And which could just be handled by full erase...

Hi, Jon-ats,
This Ghost is a pro. Don't worry.
