HIE 500 any information on this data recovery unit

June 18th, 2008, 2:43

i been checking this our above a HIE 500 FAST DATA RECOVER MACHINE at bvg-group

can anyone give me any information on what this product is used for or idea used for.

as i was reading about it it talks about searching out just the data itself and nothing more

it would be intrested if you need to do a recovery quick and to just target where the file system are then reading the whole drive itself

but there no english pdf file on how to use this unit
has anyone bought this device at all

Device HIE-500 is designed for autonomous (without computer using) data copying from any HDD to another HDD at 8Mb per second. The device can be used for HDD cloning.

An unique hardware method is embedded in the device (there is immediate data transfer from HDD to HDD without CPU using) and thus data copying rate increases up to 8 Mb per second.

The device is recommended for using in service departments of computer firms and data recovery companies. If you need full copies of HDD having rare file systems (for example, XBOX, MAC OS and others) this device is also of much use.

Hi,

I found some info on http://www.pc3khrt.com/hie400.htm but it have no good feeling about this website. If you look at the english description, it is horrible
I guess they threw the original text into a translation website and just pasted the outcome.

If the manual is of the same qualtity
