Your better off using Winhex. Use trial and error to find correct block size.

RStudio can determine the strip size, offset, etc. with just a few clicks. It's pretty much menu driven - If it returns a no confidence state, then increase the number of samples (i.e. read more of the drive).

Hi,

How many drives do you have in the RAID set?
This will help determine what for a RAID set you have. If you have only 2 Drives, then it can only be RAID 0 or RAID 1. If you have 3 or more drives then it most likely is RAID 5, but It also could be RAID 0.

If you have RAID 1 (mirrored disks)
then all data will be mirrored on the second drive, therefore one drive should be mountable and have all the data, therefore no DR is needed.

If you have RAID 0 (striped disks)
then you need to image the drives as virtual drives in R-Studio (Virtual strip set) or any other software for that.
