I have an older Maxtor 91024U3 that clicks when turned on. The clicking is constant and does not stop. So far I have tried a donor pcb and heads with no luck. Tried a hotswap before the head swap with no luck. The donor was an exact match and within a few days of the failed one. The donor heads click for 20 to 30 seconds and then enter safe mode. Pc3000 recognizes the drive as an ORION 6GB on the older model option. Any attempts to load a ldr from the identical donor fail. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks.
