PCB Fried - Just a Swap or ?

August 8th, 2008, 21:53

I thought that getting my HD back up to save the data on board was as easy (!) as finding a similar board and swapping it in.

It worked when I did my 120gb WD last week.

Visiting this forum to try and find a pcb board for my 160gb I see that I have to switch the ROM as well as potentially other info.

I've limked my posting from the Buy and Sale category because maybe I am missing something I need to do.

Any help would be appreciated,

Cordially
Glen
