Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hi,
i have a WD drive, type is WDC WD2500BB-00GUC0-08.02D08. The drive had logical bad sectors in SA and therefore module 02 is damaged. I tried all modules i could find on the net, there is currently none to be found. I rebuilded it using Copy 0 and 1 but there is still one sector missing. Does anyone have modules (especially 02) for this drive? I have attached a zip file with the rebuilded module for comparison, the part from b400-b5f0 is bad due to the bad sectors.
Thanks in advance!

no, it doesnt, already tried but thanks for the help.
the hdd should have 488 397 168 LBA's. with the module from the fitting hddguru file it has 4 xxx xxx xxx LBA's (dont remember the exact value right now). i have tried many modules, with some the LBA value is correct but i cant access the whole disk so i would guess that the translator tables are not compatible with these modules or they cant read beyond their supposed capacity (e.g. wd1600bb-00guc0, 160 gig). the difficulty seems to be finding the original module because they differ much even if the type is WDxxxxYY-00GUC0. you can take a look in pc3000 database, many 160er modules there, none compatible and they differ.
or could there be another problem i am not aware yet?
anyway thanks in advance for your help,
best regards,
Stephan
