Partion creation nightmare

August 24th, 2008, 5:34

Hey Everbody

I recently got a old 20 gig Westren HD. There were no partition on it, so I download Westren Digital Datalife Guard Tools, and made a partition. When I clicked on it via My Computer, windows wanted to format it, so I formatted it, full format to NTFS. Halfway thought the computer froze, and I had to do a hard reboot.

Now, the drive does not show up on My Computer, when using WD Tools, it shows again on My Computer, when I try to format via Windows, it says it can't be formatted.

Tried doing a low level format and also came up with a error. Any advice?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Your drive have a lot of bad sectors, and will be frozen again, if the OS hits these...
I suggest to buy another disk.
This is only waste of time....
