how to repair click ibm dtla 305040?

as subject, i have some ibm drives ,modle:dtla 305040 without safemode all of them click when power up.how can i let them to be ready for rewrite firmware or other opetation? can someone give me some advice? thanks very much!

Did u need data or only repair it?

on first check on a clean room the surface IBM /Hitachi its a model, wich has tendence to head crash , even some seagate Tonka models 500GB 320GB , some Maxtors Models, and only we got one case WD with head crash :?

did u checked before if doesnt has platter damaged?
