Hello,
I received a Presario from a friend for free with an inoperable hard drive. Whatever tools I use to boot with tell me that it has bad sectors. Other tools tell me that there is no hard drive installed. I do not care anything for the content on the drive I just want to see if it is really dead or if I can give it some new life. When I boot with Seatools it will not let me use the keyboard or mouse so I can't do anything with that. Windows cd's will not do anything since it says that there are bad sectors.
Are there any bootable programs that might be ablet offer me some help?
