seagate momentus 5400.3 terminal output

September 9th, 2008, 15:43

Looks like seagate has changed the way the terminal output looks a bit. Every time the HM REG701 87 shows up the drive is clicking. Once it finally stops I am stuck at the F> prompt.

Any ideas or suggestions? I am assuming it is just a bad head.

Typically these are catastrophic media damage
