Thanks for you reaction, indeed the board was fried. I contacted samsung directly and explained the situation. After that they provided me new PCB's. That is what my advise would be (it must be in it's warranty period though, which it was in my case).

You are lucky. Here under warranty, We don't get any replacement for BURN/Physical Damage (Dropped or broken that can be seen at open eyes) any branded drives.
