Hi guys, first post on here.
I have a WD 500GB WD5000AAKS. Taken from my working machine a few months ago. When plugged in to a caddi there is no power. Tried to plug it back in to the original machine and still no power, no spin, nothing.

Could it be a board? Anyone else have a similar issue?

Panth

Ive just done a search on WD5000AAKS and it seems like you can not just change the PCB board with out re-writting to the ROM. much bigger problem then expected.
