Seagate 500 GB HDD 3.5 inch showing 3.9 GB and not detecting, can hear clicking sound 11 times and stops and shows 3.9 GB in hard disk sentinel software and not able to access the HDD.I also have a same HDD like that in spare,What could be the problem.
It also shows model number ST_M13FQBL .

It shows ID of ST_M13FQBL also?

Problem is likely physical if you can hear clicking sounds. I guess after clicking stops HDD motor powers off too?

Firstly, proper diagnosis is needed to determine the exact problem. If physical repairs are needed, you should consult a professional. these are not 'easy' disks to work on and having a spare does not mean you have a suitable donor. There are factors such as heads compatibility that should be considered

Could it be also the problem of head that its not detecting the track 0 and sends a signal not detecting and stops the motor spinning(the motor also stops spinning after 11 clicks )

SA is not read. Head change was unsuccessful, or else the problem is elsewhere.

Unfortunately I think is impossible to offer any further advice. If you still need data send to a professional.

I have the exact same issue with a Seagate ST31500341AS. Did you manage to recover any data from your drive?
Thanks.
