hi
i m shriniwas,
i have Toshiba HDD of HP Probook 4430s. some days before my laptop got stuck when booting windows xp. when i trying to format drive c: my remaining partition also got deleted. after that i check the bios setting, in that the "Hard drive protect" option was enabled. but hence there is no passward was set in the bios. i tried to repair the partition with various data recovery software but nothing happens. i also trying to solved the problem with bootable "MHDD 4.6", it shows the "drive is not ready". when i use the same drive as external drive via usb connector it works fine but the HDD shows clear (no dat/blank).
i m very apprisheat if some one solve the problem.

You need to scan the disk whit a data recovery software like GetData or Power data recovery. The partition should be recovered if you didn't over wright the disk.

I m already tried with getdata back and power recovery but the process get stuck at serton sector and do not processed further.

You should clone the drive first, and then work with the clone.
Use Media Tools Pro or similar program.

ISTM that the drive has a physical problem.
