Recover lost partition - WD My Book 1130 (USB) 2000 GB

October 27th, 2013, 21:19

Western Digital External USB Hard Drive - WD My Book 1130 (USB) 2000 GB

The above HD was working properly and had 1.8 gb data. Accidentally I created two additional partitioned. When I connect this USB drive it displays drive but not accessible.

I tried to recover using Getdata Data Recovery software but not been successful.

The following drive status shows when I am trying to Recover Data software:

Partition Capacity Used Unused File System Type Status
*.PQSERVICE 12.69 GB 11.43 GB 1.26 GB NTFS PRIMARY NONE
K:SYSTEM RESERVED 100.00 MB 25.21 MB 74.79 MB NTFS PRIMARY ACTIVE
L: 1850.19 GB 1850.19 GB 0 B UNFORMATTED PRIMARY NONE

How can I recover and make L: Partition active and able to recover data.

Thanks very much for your advice and support.

What does that mean? I have clients who value their personal data higher than some of my business clients.
