head moves but stops. video included..

Hello. My hdd head is moving but in a few second it stops. you can watch it here..

can anyone please tell me what is the problem? which part of hdd must be change.. thank you all brothers..

It is media damage. The media is the disk hosting the data.

Absolutely, we can clearly see a ring of damage near the spindle.

I was copying files from my pc to hdd. And than pc lagged for 2 min. And i was very angry and taked off the hdd cable and restarted pc. And now my hdd doesnt work..

not to mention that the chances of recovery has been severely decreased by opening it on the dinner table.

Can i work it again and maybe save a little bit of my files? I dont now why the head stops. In every media damage cases, does head stop?

You have had it open in a bad environment. You would need to take it to a specialised DR Centre to work on, and even then I doubt it. but in any case probably quite expen$ive

I think no way here, the scrach in pattler makes imposible to recover data.
