not new to data recovery but new to the head replacement part.

i got 2 hdd's one samsung MP0402h and a SG st9320325AS.
now i read alot about how to do it and i even got the tools for it. but i seem to be running into problems.
for donors i use the following matching table





After replacing the heads they both still seem to be clicking.

after i place the heads back into there donors the donors work fine, this to me seems that how i replace the heads seems to be correct.

can anyone comfirm that the matching tables i use are correct and maybe have some tips for me.

tables Looks fine.

Maybe the problem is FW, or bad media

Have you tried the patient heads into the donors?

the original head was damaged seen by eye. so no i didn't not do that.

Can you send pics from badly heads¿

The heads could be incompatible.

Esp. for the Seagate drive, your guide misses the most important parameter, esp. for your model.
