Hello,

I'm currently involved in a recovery in which I require a compatible SATA board for a WD10TMVW-11ZSMS5. I have tried several with the same controller chip and none have work. Is there something I'm missing? If a SATA board cannot be found, would anyone know the points to solder a SATA connector to it? Thank you all for your help in advance.

You say you've tried a sata PCB with same controller (Marvel) chip, right?

Is the motor chip the same (in this case Nautilus)?

Did you transfer U12 chip?

Yes, I have tried it even with the same motor chip. I did not transfer the u12 chip I just copied the ROM and ROM modules to the SATA board and it wouldn't even power the drive. I have a total of 5 boards. I feel as if my last resort would be to find the sata point and solder a sata connector to it. Would you know per chance?

E71 - pin 2
E72 - pin 3
E73 - pin 5
E75 - pin 6

Ground (wherever you have on the board) - pin 1,4,7

Then remove capacitors: C13, C18, C31, C37
