Can you give more details.
What tools do you have?
What were the symptoms before the head swap?
Have you tried editing the head map to replace head 0 in place of head 1 and vice versa?
Have you tried a manual module search to find "MOD 01 DIR" module?
I have had a few cases like this lately with WD's. Turned out to be the location of "MOD 01 DIR" is wrong and the drive cannot find the DIR module to load any of the firmware. You need to do a manual search for the firmware modules and fix the region address.
Im happy to help in TV if you want.
