Hi guys,
I am using PC3K and would be very happy to get your addvice on the following case:
I got today the following drive:
Model : ST3320613AS (320GB) 7200.11
Firmware : CC2H
The drive become ready but stuck on LBA 0 problem and don't know what to do.
I cleared the smart and regenrated the translator again but the drive keeps on LBA 0.
I have feeling that it relate to the sys files or to the G-List but not sure..
At first time the drive started with BSY state problem and refused to comunicate with the terminal at all.
After few combinations of shoritng the read chanel the drive come back to live (with out the real capacity 320GB) and give access to terminal.
I followed few times the steps for fixing 7200.11 BSY problem and LBA 0 problem but the drive still on LBA 0.
During the first round for fixing BSY state the drive couldn't clear the smart.
Evantualy when I powered off and on the drive become on ready state keep spining doesn't click, run fast and give access to all sys files and models but keeps on LBA 0.
No matter what I did the drive keeps on that situation.
I am sure that I am missing something but can't figure out what it is.
By the way, If I try to reach to the SA without the terminal than I get error on terminal
