ST3250620AS HEAD PROBLEM

January 12th, 2016, 10:12

Hello everyone and a happy new year,

I have a seagate drive with the following details
ST3250620AS
S/N 9QE
SITE TK
FIRM 3.AAC
P/N 9BJ14E-300

The drive has head problem.

When i change heads i usually match model, 3 digits of serial and site code. In most of the cases that works. The problem now is that i dont have parts for this case and its an urgent case. I would to ask if its possible to use parts from a 320gb drive and if yes what i should pay attention.

Thank you all for your time.

Regards

Maestro

You should also look at the sticker inside the drive, on the pcb connector...what preamp is used in the patient drive.
