Hello to everyone.
Sorry for my bad english.. I'm Italian...
Many thanks to Dmitry for it's wonderful tool... I was discovered this tool about Four month ago and from that moment, I was used it Many times for speedy diagnose of entire surface of HDD.
I was study from my young age low level logical structure of many file systems and I was successful recover many logical file system until now.
Now I was start to study HDD low level Hardware of HDD starting wen my laptop hdd was faulty.
I was read many document until now and I was successful repaired my Laptop HDD due to my good skills on electronic repair. I hope one day to achieve a little bit of Dmitry Knowledge. J

For Dmitry:

-I was used your tool on 2.5” HDD and I think there is a little difference with desktop HDD, I think that Reserved area for Bad Sector Reallocation it’s short than desktop.. can you confirm this?

-I was used your tool on a Hitachi DK237A-32 and strange thing was happens…
This drive was scanned and seems to have simple some bad sector.. I was used Erase Wait and now I receive !!!!!!!!! like a password protected Drive (ABRT), but PWD protection it’s OFF.
Have you an IDEA of what happens?

-Have you a complete list of default supervisor password for each manufacturer?

Sorry for ALL this questions, but when I learn something I become like an Autist.... :-)

Thanks
Regards

NB: For last question, I will continue search...

1) I don't know
2) Some old drives have bug when you reached the maximum defects in "grown defect list". So sometimes they just kill their own system area.
