Kroll OnTrack in UK

Hi all

Does anyone have any experience on UK OnTrack? I have a drive here that sounds worse now than when it was sent to them, several screws missing - yet there is an OnTrack sticker that says "All original warranties still apply".

thanks

David

Hi,
I have some experience with Ontrack.
First Ontrack is a Recovery company, and they do not repair hard disk to be used after they performed the recovery.
The sticky that you saw at your hard disk means that Ontrack has the confidence of all manufactors to open your disk and the manufactur still respect the warranty ( if applyed ) before Ontrack open it.
What I do not know is what you was expecting when you sent the disk to them ? to recover your files or to repair your disk ?

Disks ( it does not matter if the are USB SATA PATA SCSI) after be open supose to have some problems like noises and some others.

I hope that this help you to understand.
