Power off durng LoLvlFmt

January 15th, 2020, 10:46

OS: WinXP. External hard drive adapter
Unfortunately during a Low Level Format, the power was cut.
Now I cannot any longer see the drive in File Explorer (although LowLevelFormat can but without drive letter).
If I put another drive in the external drive adapter it can be seen and a drive letter assigned.
If I connect the external adapter to another computer it reccognises the drive and assigns a drive letter but reports size as zero bytes (actually 1 Tb).
Any good suggestions? Thank you (I have a System backup from prev day!)
Regards & Thanks Agolindo

Consider getting an UPS for the stuff doing critical work?
