2,5 inch WD USB hard drive 2060-800041-003 problem

January 15th, 2024, 16:00

The hard drive 2060-800041-003 is not detected in windows.
The white LED shines.
When touching the drive I can also feel motor running but it stops in a moment and then no reaction at all. Only LED continues shining
Are there on PCB any test points to check voltages?
Or what to try next?
Thank you for advice.

The general rule when checking the onboard supplies is to measure the voltages at the inductors.

The general rule when checking the onboard supplies is to measure the voltages at the inductors.

But how to measure the voltages if you do not know which value is correct ?
