Preamp is gone, perhaps some of the data/servo as well, not DIY anymore.

thank you for your replies...
in order to reply at Lukas effectively the drive spins and cliks three times before switching off...
i tried the drive with ide interface at the place of a previous ide drive in my desktop, but always with the same result; the drive is not recognized by the desktop bios...
probably i am going to forgive all my researchs and different tries.
