Any tips for choosing a good HDD with little use on AliExpress just for storing backup files? 500GB
Any reliable sellers?

At that capacity you will find that an SSD doesn't cost much more than an HDD. In any case, the HDD will most probably be used or refurbished.

You can go for 1TB HDD instead, there's barely any 500GB new HDD.
As for the seller, look for their ratings and ammount of reviews, that will tell you everything you need to know

I would like some tips for choosing a used 2.5" or 3.5" HDD that has been used very little and is in good condition for archiving. I currently have 2 1TB Kesu HDDs purchased on AliExpress.

What is a good website to buy used 2.5" HDDs in good condition? I currently have two Kesu purchased on AliExpress.
