I don't know what the explanation is. AFAIK, the author of Victoria has incorporated some vendor specific commands in his software, and I know that many WD drives (and perhaps HGST?) have additional SMART attributes which are not reported to the host. However, these hidden attributes can be viewed by accessing the drive at the firmware level. That said, I can't see how this would explain those two attributes which are reported by CDI but not by Victoria.

That too, but this thread could be resolved if @FrederikSchack would provide the information I have asked for, in two different forums. It's very irksome when people ask for help, but don't provide the requested feedback.
