Data recovery from a USB Memory Stick

Hi friends,

I need to recover data from a USB Memory Stick. Windows XP reports "USB device is malfunctioning"...
Any suggestion will be welcome.

Friend ,Did you tried it on other os ? if yes,(and not working properply)

You need same(in all manner) memory stick(good and working)
1.remove its flash chip(from bad stick)
2.remove its flash chip(from good stick)
and solder flash chip(from bad stick) on to the new one(good stick).. and check status..
