I have Maxtor 2b020h1 whose uba have errors and glist is corrupt and also it shows Maxtor Athena here is what i did .

1> Put hdd in Safe mode .
2> Load approprite LDR , LDR loaded successfully .
3> Check modules and uba , Glist was bad and uba had error from 391- 400.
4> Write good Glist module , written successfully .

if SA write test failed : Nothing can be done. Recording other firmware is useless, since nothing is written to SA.

As you can see G-List is still bad even you have rewrite it. That's because nothing is recorded to the corrupted SA.

PS : Why don't you try Clear G-List ?
