maybe PreAMp was damaged.
or you can replace 25P05AV(8 Pin) to donor pcb.
but best read ROM first of DONOR pcb.

did you pay attention for motor combo ic compatibility? i bet that one is SMOOTH and second is SH6960 which is not compatible, short circuit 4,5 legs in donor rom when starting, maybe this help

prodata,
your donor pcb is not compatible.
Read pc3kwin manual for compatiblity requirements,
which are not strictly correct anyway, but you should do
some lot of your own research with working drives to
discover compatibility requirements for donor pcb.

last time I got Seagate 200 GB ( PCB Without Memory Chip ) then i replace with Donor PCB with Memory Chip and it work for me of course with swaping ROM.
But this time the problem happen... I check Both PCB using same Motor COmbo IC SH6960. I check resistence in Motor and there is nothing Problem..
My Patient PCB burn in TVR, Motor Combo IC and Chip 8 pin 4833SAK. I dont want to repair patient PCB because it is too difficult to me caused it may damage Main Micro controller ST100367025..
Can I use Donor PCB with IDE interface..
Please advice me..
