One pair ear plug is okay. I have no 8 pair of ears. :D

In my opinion, don't wast time that old old HDD.

Hi I know what Rameez is trying to say, the drives have some value where he lives.

Rameez unless you have a micro machinist available there is no way to fix these drives. A damaged bearing will always be noisy unless it is replaced as the lubrication has failed and metal has been transferred between the spindle and housing and or bearing surfaces making them noisy. Even if you were to remove the end plug, dismantle the bearings and re-polish them,and re microweld the motors sealed again, the tolerances would be off and they would still be noisy afterwards. There is no lubricant oil that could fix this, and grease would not work for a fluid bearing.

Thanks for all your support the hdd i think this hdd has a solid bearing , by the way to i also need to fix those hdd just for an experiment , if it works out good it would be a new discovery . i will try to lubricate the bearing and posts results here .
