"Not Ready Drives" Drives before 21May2002 all bad

All drives on and after 21May2002 can be tested. All drives before come up Not Ready. This is not the first time I posted this problem. There are three FRU# that are doing this 06P5369 MAN3184MC, still trying to get the dates for these two 06P5323 MAN3367MC and 06P5348 MAN3184MC. If anyone has seen this before let me know. Thanks.Image

I have one of these drives (Fujitsu SCSI) with a suspected firmware issue. Anybody know of a resource or a tool?
